The New Chevy Corvette C7R Concept With New Aerodynamics and Forged Wheels




The Chevrolet Corvette has recently been racing successfully around the world for decades. It is performance could match and often exceed those of many foreign and exotic competition cars from Germany, Great britain, and Italy, effectively adding the American car maker on the map for performance cars. In the American Le Mans Series, Chevrolet has run a factory team for the past few seasons by using a pair of Corvette C6R models that are centered on the road-going Corvettes Z06 model.

The competition car has been quite successful capturing numerous scène finishes, first-place finishes, driver's championships, and overall benefits. Even at the famous 24 Hours of Votre Mans, the team was able to win the GT class during the 80th anniversary of contending in the race. Today, the manufacturer has a brand new race car concept bottom on the new C7 stingray corvette carbon fiber that was featured on Motoring Exposure, Street and Track, and Car Magazine. The new C7R Corvette will feature modified aerodynamics, new body work, forged wheels, and a race-prepped interior.

The new Corvette C7R Concept will wear an all-new light and portable ‘carbon fiber body that gives a lower overall weight than the production light weight aluminium and plastic body systems of the normal model. The carbon fiber will also offer numerous high-strength benefits and be able to repair quickly in the case of small accidents by the contest team. The new pneumatics worn by the contest car concept will also be made from carbon dietary fiber.
